ARNAU - PRAGUE, 2022

DIMASH QUDAIBERGEN

TIPSPORT ARENA PRAGUE

Tipsport Arena Prague Dimash Qudaibergen

Prague

On April 16, the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, hosted the baton of “ARNAU” by Dimash Qudaibergen. In an interview with DimashNews the artist shared what feelings he had about his long-awaited return with a solo concert after 2 years of pandemic.

Dimash’s ARNAU concert tour, which began in 2020, had to be suspended, resuming after two years of harrowing anticipation for the artist and his fans.

Having finished his show in the heart of the Czech Republic in a bright and exciting way, Dimash shared that his return with a solo concert after a long pandemonium has caused him incredible feelings, incommensurable by anything:

“Yes, during the 2 years of the pandemic I performed at various awards and festivals, but coming back with a solo concert is a completely different emotion. The atmosphere is more native, special. So of course I want to thank all the Dears for the love and support they always give me.”

When asked if the connection with the fans was lost during this time, Dimash said:

“It’s pretty hard to answer that question. Even when I was apart, of course, I felt the love and support of the Dears, but there were some worries. But as soon as I stepped on stage all my worries evaporated. These concerts showed that our bond with Dears is still strong, even though we lost two years to the pandemic.”

I hope more people can see him perform live, not just those of us who have seen him already and are greedy for more. Because seeing him live does make us greedy for more. We want to be there to share his emotions. We want to witness this beautiful and elegant man as he arrives onstage and almost shyly thanks his Dears for “your coming”, hoping that we ‘enjoy every moment’ with him. We want to experience song after song of his incredible voice, his wonderful band and backup singers, the stage settings and everything that goes in to making the show a spectacle. We want to be there through every changing emotion, through every expression of his love, and we want to feel it too. Every nuance, from the tiniest of hand movements to his grand gestures, we don’t want to miss a moment. And at the end when he has finally slid across the floor to wreck his trousers, shed his shoes, climbed the stage light towers, screamed at his Dears “YOU” as he holds out his microphone, we want to join his choir in SCREAMING, as we have probably already done with other songs throughout the night, but this time losing our inhibitions and yelling for him by name. We want to see the child in him drumming with Ilya, laughing and spontaneous. We hold on to every moment until he says “see you next time” , because we hope and pray there will be a next time. We all want more.

This was my first time seeing Dimash live in concert. So there I was in the arena waiting for Dimash to appear on stage. Suddenly the music starts to the intro of the song "Golden" and all lights are on the figure emerging onto the stage. From that moment on I did not take my eyes away from him. Dimash slayed that stage. He owned it. He practically defied gravity sweeping across the stage in flight mode. His energy was just through the roof. What to mention and what to leave out? There's so much to say. When he performed "Olympico", he was like a God leading the people to march on in life and live it. His voice so powerful that it shook the arena and when he performed his high notes if you weren't looking you could swear it was a woman singing. "Ave Maria" was another highlight. All I can say is that his velvety voice reached the core of my soul and some of us had tears streaming down our face. There were standing ovations after practically every song. Last but not least there was wonderful interaction with the audience and a great sense of humor. If you don't see this man in concert at least once in your life you are missing out on a life changing experience. Now I am waiting to go to my third concert. 😍❤

With much love,

for Dimash
