Have you guessed who he is? The first multimedia product of the second season of the “Chinese Mythology in Paintings” project, “The Legend of Shen Nong”, produced by CGTN, has officially launched.

Famous Kazakh musician Dimash Qudaibergen was invited to participate in the second season of the “Chinese Mythology in Paintings” project and complete his cross-over debut in animation voice acting.

Recently, Dimash Qudaibergen, a renowned musician from Kazakhstan, was invited to participate in the second season of the Chinese traditional culture communication project “Chinese Mythology in Paintings” produced by CGTN of China Media Group.

He made his debut in animation dubbing, interpreting Chinese classical mythological stories with his heavenly voice, lending a hand in international cultural interchanges. During the interview, Dimash expressed that this was a wonderful and interesting experience.

This project is beneficial for everyone and everyone should learn more about other ethnic cultures. He stated that by participating in the “Chinese Mythology in Paintings” project, his horizon has significantly broadened and he would continue to pay attention to and learn more about Chinese culture in the future.

Starting from December 7, the second season of “Chinese Mythology in Paintings” will successively launch three animated works: “The Legend of Shen Nong”, “‘Foolish Yugong Moves Mountains” and “Yu the Great Tames Floods”.

Dimash participated in the dubbing of all three animations.

2. Foolish Yugong Moves Mountains

“Foolish” Yugong is not necessarily unwise, just like Jingwei trying to fill up the ocean might not be foolish.

“Foolish” Yugong Moves Mountains has always been a classic literature revered by the Chinese people, and “the spirit of Yugong” has also been inspiring generations of Chinese people to forge ahead bravely. On December 11th, ”’Foolish’ Yugong Moves Mountains”, the multimedia product of the second season of “Chinese Mythology in Paintings”, a Chinese traditional culture integration and dissemination project produced by CGTN of China Media Group, was officially launched online.

3. Yu the Great Tames Floods

Balancing powers of water and earth rebellious to the heaven, leaving a remarkable achievement for 3500 years. Over the centuries, “Yu the Great Tames Floods” has always been an important spiritual totem of the Chinese civilization, and it has a broad influence worldwide. On December 15th, the second season of the Chinese traditional culture integration and communication project, “Chinese Mythology in Paintings”, produced by the CGTN of CMG — “Yu the Great Tames Floods” is officially launched online.

Up to now, the “Chinese Mythology in Paintings” project has successively launched six animated works, including “Nvwa”, “Houyi”, “The Classic of Mountains and Seas”, “The Legend of Shen Nong”, “‘Foolish’ Yugong Moves Mountains”, and “Yu the Great Tames Floods”. Anna Shcherbakova, the champion of women’s singles figure skating at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics from Russia, and Dimash Kudaibergen, a well-known musician from Kazakhstan, were invited to participate in the project’s dubbing.
