X/Twitter is another social platform, less popular than the others (Instagram, Facebook) – with 372.9 million users.
The platform was created in 2006 (remember Instagram came out in 2010 and has 10 times more users than Twitter currently) – so it should be at least similar in popularity, so we try to understand why it isn’t – and in general, and from our perspective as Dears and what we could do there.
Naturally and statistically normal, the number of Dimash followers is the lowest on this platform.
This is not a real cause for concern for us, Dears, because a stronger base’s option – on one platform (a more popular one) is always better than the other option where we would need to be present everywhere.
Stronger and larger public communities on a popular platform can always be more successful than our omnipresence on many.
Statistics
First of all, it leads the top platforms that offer a toxic environment to users (i.e. contrary to expectations from social media platforms – which are to unite users).
A recent poll is offering gold to X/Twitter for trolling, and claims that:
38.1 percent of respondents said that Twitter had the most trolls, compared with 26.9 percent who said trolling was a problem on Facebook, and 14.8 percent on Reddit.
A massive 90 percent of people also said they’ve even seen racist posts by people in their network.
In addition, 86 percent say they’ve seen negative content regarding sexual orientation and gender posted by people in their network. What is also noteworthy is that while 87 percent said they’d block or “unfollow” someone if they disliked their social media content, some 46 percent actually admitted to interacting with someone in a negative manner online.
As we advised you in the previous article, do not hesitate to immediately block people who bother you in any way here, as well as on all other social networks.
Dears on Twitter
Returning to our Dears’ presence on social media – to support Dimash, the actions we can help him with here are similar to those on other platforms. The platform is not difficult to use.
The much-discussed #hashtags should be limited to 3, and tweets have a 140 character limit.
#hashtags are keywords used on social platforms that make our message visible and easier to find in their search engines. Be careful how you use them and never overuse.
#dimash hashtag – for example – will be searched and found by Dimash fans.
#newsong #music or #newmusic (these are just examples) – are keywords that could be used by potential new fans.
Generic keywords are used by a lot of people, so the chances of someone seeing our tweet that we created for promotional purposes is unfortunately very small.
Do not forget to have fun!
The overall impression of the Dears communities formed here and the possibilities for a new fan to join one of them is a weaker one, unfortunately, compared to other social networks where fan pages are much more visible, organized and active.
If we don’t find a community of fans to spend our desired pleasant time with, the “Dear activity” can be done independently. Our #dimash hashtags will connect us to other Dears and we can engage in conversations under each other’s tweets, increasing their visibility. Share videos, express your own opinions of the media you share, ask interesting questions and have fun!
We are sure we can all do so much more than “repost/retweet” and credit others. We can be creative, too.
As another example, we can follow accounts associated with the music industry, where we can feature Dimash (in tweets that give us the opportunity) or simply tweet about Dimash, as we do on other social platforms.
Tweets with links to Dimash videos are welcome (Dimash and what Dimash does is the best promotion for Dimash), short clips, pictures, etc.
We will surely like, comment and retweet all Dimash’s tweets.
