Dimash: music meets tennis in Almaty
Dimash Qudaibergen has recently been performing at major sports events, including the ATP 250 tennis tournament in Almaty. Last year, he headlined the opening ceremony on October 15, 2024, at the Almaty Arena, delivering a one-of-a-kind show to kick off the international tournament.
This year, Dimash’s (and tennis) fans can see him again as the 2025 Almaty Open runs from October 11 to 19. The event brings fan zones, interactive activities, family entertainment, food from around the world, and live music. Dimash will take the stage at the opening ceremony – on October 14), joined by other top Kazakh artists throughout the week. Tickets – HERE.

Figure skating to the music of Dimash
The tradition of figure skaters performing to music by Dimash Qudaibergen began with Denis Ten, widely recognized as the pioneer of figure skating in Kazakhstan. An Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, five-time national champion, multiple international titleholder, and bronze medalist at the XXII Olympic Games in Sochi, Denis Ten chose Dimash’s rendition of “S.O.S. d’un terrien en détresse” for his free program.
“Rhapsody of Ice” was the title of Igor Krutoy’s anniversary concert on November 3, 2019, featuring a performance by Dimash Qudaibergen. The event was a spectacular blend of music, dance, and sports.
Dimash Qudaibergen performed the National Anthem at GGG-Canelo Fight in Las Vegas
In 2022, Dimash Qudaibergen performed the national anthem before the highly anticipated third and final bout between Kazakhstan’s Gennady Golovkin and Mexico’s Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas, following a personal invitation from Golovkin.
