Dimash to lead Hunan TV’s new cultural music tour in 2026
A brand new project by Hunan TV titled 声起地平线 “Voice Beyond Horizon” is planned to launch in Q1 2026. This innovative cultural music tour will highlight the rich heritage of the Silk Road through a dynamic blend of music, travel, and cultural exchange.
At the heart of this project is Dimash, who will take on the role of Study Tour Leader, guiding a group of musicians across four cities in Kazakhstan. The Study Tour Group consists of eight talented musicians, including three from China and five international artists, bringing together diverse musical styles and cultures.
The group will engage in field research, live performances, and cultural exploration, fostering meaningful musical encounters and promoting cultural dialogue. Alongside Dimash, the tour will feature flying music instructors like Plácido Domingo, a celebrated national soprano, and a renowned male pop singer.

This project is produced by the Luo Xinxing Team, a core production unit of Hunan TV known for their creativity-driven, technology-enabled, and cross-disciplinary approach. They excel in combining youthful expression with traditional culture, making this tour a unique celebration of heritage and modernity.

In 2024, Hunan Satellite TV maintained its position as the top provincial broadcaster in China, leading national viewership rankings on 321 out of the first 326 days of the year. The season premiere of Singer 2024 stood out, securing a 1.84% national audience share – over 40% higher than any of the other 33 provincial satellite channels. Hunan’s digital arm, Mango TV, also saw significant growth, surpassing 71.7 million paid subscribers by November and ending the year with a record 73.3 million active members, reinforcing its role as one of the country’s most prominent online media platforms.
