The inaugural Pyramids Echo Festival, set against the majestic backdrop of the Great Pyramids of Giza, promises to be a landmark event in Egypt’s cultural calendar. Scheduled from November 24 to 30, 2025, this festival aims to bridge civilizations through the universal language of music. The Panorama Pyramids Theatre will serve as the primary venue, offering an unparalleled setting for these historic performances.

Dimash performs in Kazakh, English, Spanish, Russian, French, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and Turkish. At his solo concerts, he often includes at least one song in the language of the host country. His vocal range spans more than 6 octaves, encompassing baritone to whistle register. His repertoire is broad and demanding: From opera and folk to pop, rock, and rap. Almost every piece contains crossover elements, with Dimash contributing not only as a performer but also as a music producer. He has composed works in Kazakh, English, Chinese, and Spanish, and plays several instruments, including the dombra, piano, drums, guitar, xylophone, among others. Collaborations with renowned artists such as Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, Jackie Chan, Walter Afanasieff, Nathan Wang, Igor Krutoy, Terry Lin, Lara Fabian, Aida Garifullina, Burak Yeter, and Stjepan Hauser have helped introduce Kazakh culture to global creative communities and expanded international cultural ties.Dimash has recorded more than 10 soundtracks for films, TV series, and video games in Chinese, Kazakh, and English. He performed the theme songs for Jackie Chan’s films Vanguard and The Legend.
Festival highlights
Opening night – November 24, 2025: The festival commences with a grand piano recital by the world-renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang, accompanied by the esteemed Royal Philharmonic Concert.
A global icon of classical music, Lang Lang rose tofame at 17 and has since performed at the world’s mostprestigious stages and events. He was the first Chinesepianist to play with the Berlin Philharmonic and is adedicated advocate for music education. Performingwith the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, hisappearance opens The Pyramids Echo Festival withbrilliance and global prestige.
Virtuosos Talent Show kids
Talented young musicians – the Virtuosos Amira and Mariam Abouzahra will showcase their remarkable violin skills, on November 28, 2025.
AMIRA ABOUZAHRAA talented violinist who has appeared at Lincoln Center, Berliner Philharmonie, and Covent Garden. She has performed with orchestras including the Concerto Budapest Szimfonikus Zenekar and the Liszt Ferenc Kamarazenekar.
MARIAM ABOUZAHRAA gifted Egyptian-Hungarian violinist who made her orchestral debut at age six. She has performed with major ensembles including the Hungarian National Philharmonic and the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.
The festival also includes performances at the New Opera House in the New Administrative Capital on December 12 – 13, featuring the Boris Eifman Ballet from St. Petersburg, one of Europe’s most celebrated ballet companies.
The Pyramids Echo Festival will not only bring world-class performances to the iconic Giza Plateau but will also reach audiences far beyond Egypt. As announced by Festival Committee Chairman Ahmed Abouzahra, the organizers have partnered with one of the world’s leading music and opera production companies to market the concerts to major international TV networks. These performances will be broadcast across Europe during the Christmas season, allowing global viewers to experience the magic of the festival and the breathtaking setting of the Pyramids Panorama.
