Dimash Qudaibergen at “Altay - the Golden Cradle of the Turkic World” Festival
The international festival “Altay – the Golden Cradle of the Turkic World” took place from July 10 to July 12, 2026, in the scenic villages of Katon-Karagai and Berel in eastern Qazaqstan.
As the final act of the evening, Dimash Qudaibergen concluded a remarkable program that showcased performers from Azerbaijan, Bashkortostan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Karakalpakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Turkey, Tuva, and Uzbekistan.
According to reports, the festival attracted an audience of approximately 50,000 people, reflecting the wide public interest in the cultural gathering.

The concert program featured artists representing various cultures of the Turkic world and beyond, with performances by Sarmad (Kazakhstan), Hazina (Bashkortostan), Subedei Samdyn from Agula and OT (Mongolia), Aizana (Tuva), Efendi (Azerbaijan), Alisher Bayniyazov (Karakalpakstan), NOX (Hungary), Sevarahon Tulanova (Uzbekistan), JAX (Kyrgyzstan), Alatau Serileri (Kazakhstan), and Murat Yaprak (Turkey). Together, the performers highlighted the diversity of regional musical traditions, blending folk heritage with contemporary sounds.
Dimash Qudaibergen’s performance
As the evening’s headliner, Dimash Qudaibergen delivered a powerful closing performance that showcased the wide range of his repertoire.
His set moved between neoclassical interpretations such as “Olympico” and “Ave Maria,” energetic tracks including “Golden,” “Smoke,” “Give Me Your Love” and “Weekend,” and deeply emotional songs like “Love of Tired Swans,” “Unforgettable Day,” “Mahabbat Ber Magan,” “Just Let It Be” and “Samal,” his original composition performed by Nurzhas Sadyrbayev.
Accompanied by his team of musicians, dancers, and vocalists, Dimash highlighted the richness of Kazakh musical traditions while presenting songs from different eras of his career, including the contemporary folk arrangement of “Aqerke,” “Tau Ishinde,” “Durdaraz,” “Stranger,” and the traditional kui “Adai.”
