Dimash and Burak are sending the WEEKEND our way
Whenever Dimash chooses to collaborate with another artist, we instantly become their fans, too.
This year we were pleasantly surprised with a song that complements the wide range of Dimash’s repertoire with something new.
Weekend – first heard at the concert in Antalya, Turkey on May 6.
The song is a fruitful collaboration with Burak Yeter, a Turkish-Dutch DJ who enjoys a long and successful musical career.
ABOUT BURAK YETER
Burak Yeter (born 5 May 1982) is a Dutch – Turkish DJ, record Producer and Remixer
He developed an interest in music at a young age and learned to play classical piano at the age of 5. At age 8, he picked up playing the guitar. After receiving his undergraduate education in Civil Engineering, Yeter settled in London and earned his master’s degree in Sound Engineering from SAE Institute.
Yeter signed a contract with Pioneer in 2008, and opened DJ schools in Amsterdam, Istanbul and Los Angeles, giving professional education. Burak Yeter is the CEO of Connection Records DJ Academy and has developed nearly 3000 certified students to this day.
In 2015, Yeter started a new page in his career with his “New World” project; “new songs with a new world”. He released his first single “Happy” on Spinnin’ Records, where the track was voted best song of the week in the Spinnin’ Talent Pool. Follow-up single “Tuesday” was a bigger success, reaching the #1 in more than 80 countries and achieved one of the best songs of 2017 by Radios and TVs.
After hitting international charts with his mega-hit Tuesday, his new single MY LIFE IS GOING ON with featuring Cecilia Krull from the famous Netflix serie La Casa de Papel became his second worldwide success already hitting #1 spot in multiple countries and following releases out “Move Like This” by Armada Music and “GO 2.0” , “Echo” and “Winners” by Spinnin’ Records.
Yeter is working on upcoming projects in his studios in Amsterdam, Istanbul and Los Angeles while DJing all around the world.
Festivals
The song Weekend was heard by thousands of people last weekend in Serbia – Exit Festival (Novi Sad) and in Romania – Arad Open Air Festival (Arad).
Considering that Burak Yeter has an extremely busy schedule, as seen here, we are sure that featuring Dimash will become a hit in the world of festivals, along Burak Yeter’s many more and we are glad that Dimash’s repertoire is getting bigger and more diverse.
