Dimash Qudaibergen to perform as special guest at Meikin Asia 2025 in Kyrgyzstan
Dimash Qudaibergen will appear as a special guest at the 4th Meikin Asia International Festival of Popular Music Performers, which will be held from July 20 to 22, 2025 on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan.
This major international event brings together artists from more than 25 countries across Asia and Europe, with invited performers from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, and leading artists from Kyrgyzstan. The festival highlights cross-cultural collaboration and aims to support young talent, promote cultural dialogue, and showcase the region’s creative industries on a global stage.

Dimash is scheduled to perform on the final evening, July 22, alongside the Mongolian State Symphony Ensemble and the five finalists of the festival’s competition round. The event will be held at the Cholpon-Ata Hippodrome, which is part of the Center for the Development of Ethnoculture and Equestrian Industry.
Meikin Asia 2025 positions itself as one of the region’s most important cultural events. Dimash’s participation in the closing night is expected to be one of the highlights of the festival.

Dimash set the festival stage on fire with a powerful performance, featuring Stranger, Give Me Your Love, Adai, Durdaraz, Tau Ishinde, Weekend, and Love of Tired Swans.
Dimash Qudaibergen was awarded the title of People’s Artist of Kyrgyzstan
At the official closing ceremony of the festival, Kazakhstani singer, composer, and People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, Dimash Qudaibergen, was awarded the honorary title of People’s Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic by decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov.

The winner of the Meikin Asia 2025 Festival is Diana Stănciuleasa from Romania
Second place was jointly awarded to three performers: Vitaly Drob (Belarus), Kamir (Kyrgyzstan), and Kira Gogoladze (Russia).
Third place went to Polina Taseva (North Macedonia), Ece Asa (Turkey), and Tulkan Tadjiev (Uzbekistan).
The winners were chosen through a rigorous multi-stage selection process. An international jury evaluated the contestants over several days, focusing on vocal technique, stage presence, and overall performance skills.
